If you know more than one language likes so many people, and you like to use Microsoft Word, this tutorial is for you! In the amazing program you can write in one language and have your screen tips in another language. You can have the screen tips in your own language, or your second language, and if its doesn’t show in the list I’ll show you how to find it!
How to change the Screen Tip Language in Word 2010
- Start Microsoft Word.
- Once the program is opened: Go to File | Option |Language. ( Keyboard shortcut: Alt + F + T)
- In Set the Office Language Preferences window, go to the bottom of the window to Choose Screen Tip Language.
- Click the arrow in the right hand side of the box , if you see the one you want, go ahead and select it and click OK at the bottom of the window. Yet, if it is not there, click on: How do I get more Screen Tip languages from Office.com? Just follow the instructions, and they give you the option to buy some other features from the same language, but you can always just download the Screen tip language for free!
Advise: If you have to download the language:
Make sure you download the right version of the language a 32bit or 64bit for your system!
If you are using Windows 7 and don’t know if your system is a 32bit or a 64bit, Please Do Not hesitate to check my solution: Need to know what Windows version I have, 32-bit or 64-bit.
- Once you download the right one, go ahead and install it, It will install directly to Word. Now go back to instruction #4. Remember once you select the one you want, don’t forget to click OK at the bottom of the window.
