In Google Chrome you have the option of making a shortcut from any of the site you like to visit regularly! This option comes very handy, specially if you do not have much time in your busy day. In this option you do not even have to open the browser, because you will have the site as an application at your finger tips. You can have it on your desktop, start menu, or even better at your Taskbar! I am going to show how to create an application’s shortcut in your computer’s Desktop, Start menu, or Taskbar from Chrome.
I am going to use Word Reference’s dictionary as an example of how to do it.
Create Application Shortcut.
- Open Google Chrome, and go to www.WordReference.com site.
- Once you have the site; look at the upper-right corner and click the Customize and control icon.
- In the drop-down menu, hover on Tools.
